Birthday weekend in pictures

Saturday morning I woke up bright and early!!! I had presents to wrap and a cookie to bake. I decorated the card envelope, because like a 3 year old I too love stickers!!!

This is my first attempt at a big cookie. It was not quite as good as I hoped (I slightly overbaked it) but chocolate icing makes everything better!!!

I put her presents from Grandma G and Grandpa D (my parents) and the presents from Daddy and L on her bed. We put the tent she got for Christmas over her mattress (the bed would not fit) to make it her space until we can do something more permanent.

When Mr. Clean left to pick up Girl Clean I made a dash to the store to pick up drinks, candles and balloons!

Jack Banner, for the most part, minded his manners. I gave him a huge bone as a distraction and he loved it!!!

This is where I have just realized that the candles are sparking and they are re-lighting candles. Fortunately Girl Clean was too excited to really be upset.

Here we are blowing out the candles!! You can see her little dress in this picture, I LOVE it!!! It's a pink dress with a top that has a poodle and the skirt is a pink tutu type skirt, so very very cute!!

Enjoying her birthday cookie!

Sunday we took her ice skating. She has majorly gotten into Angelina the Ballerina and there is an episode where Angelina and Alice skate so we've been hearing for a while that she wanted to ice skate. The catch, neither Mr. Clean nor I are comfortable on the ice. We both skated up though. I was super impressed that my husband did this for baby girl!! I'm the only one who BUSTED on the ice. I went around for a loop by myself and got tripped and landed on my knee, I'll survive but it definitely hurts!!! Fortunately she decided she likes roller skating better, which I can do. Her mom and I are going to plan a roller skating day for her and her brother, we're so excited!!

Oh, I so need a girl to dress up! lol. Love her outfit. So glad she had such a great time. And dude, ice skating IS hard. I haven't been since high school, so I'd hate to see how I'd do! haha
