Thankful Thursday

This week I'm doing this a little differently. I have a lot that I am thankful for, and I know that I am blessed. I also have to remind myself sometimes just how big God is and how much He loves us. I receive daily reminders of His love and I, at times, feel overwhelmed by the overall greatness of Him! He provides all our needs, He knows the plans He has for us, He will take care of us, we just have to cast our cares and fears on Him and He has us!

1 Chronicles 16:8-11 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”

Psalm 9:1-2 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.

Psalm 100:4-5 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Psalm 106:1 “Praise the Lord Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

1 Corinthians 15:55-58 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”

LOVE this. I redid my mantle for V-day and used "...the Lord is good, his love endures forever" for the chalkboard. One of my favorites. :)
